One thing that would help and is pretty fair to

expect would be a proper statement as lots of the messaging is confusing and coming in drips across this or the cake channels.

1. cake website / defi website - put a clear statement up so its easy and people can understand the pause.
2. what exactly is the state? one statement says only dBTC elements are affected. but it seems that all coins are being limited in movement (have had 50 USDT as a test caught up on cake for 24 + hours)
things posted on twitter are different than telegram etc...need to have one official place for info that is up to date

update cake / defi sites with official messagespin a message to top of reddit threadpin posts and keep it super up to date

have been a believer in this project for a year now, dev team really stepped up yesterday. but the comms team....need to message clearly to people.

Completely agree with you! Was sending some dBTC from the light wallet to Cake and after 4hours still no confirmation or track where they are… hopefully they will arrive one day on my account🤞🏻

Yes…I had the assumption that only BTC was affected but it turns out that it’s affecting all coins. I was quite disappointed with Cake in that regard

same - then the biggest question looming is. say you want to arbitrage right now as btc is exremely cheep on dex. however you can't get it off? last thing i want is getting a lot of coin stuck on their dex, but with so little clarity right now on what does / doesn't work moving off of cake....

One strategy you can take is to use whatever other assets you already have on Defichain to buy up as much dBTC you can and sit on it for a couple days until it all levels back to market price. Then trade back and reap the profits.

Little question: I sent dbtc to my cake account recently from lite wallet, transaction was confirmed and amount was going out. Where can I find transaction details? And: cake also is not receiving dbtc in this moment?

Just lookup your light wallet address at defiscan.live and check recent transaction ids. I'm in the same boat, BTW. I believe funds are safe, they were not formally "checked in" on the recipient side.
