This is one of my main issues with constellation. It’s too difficult to understand. I think we would have much greater adoption if it could be easily explained to a 5 yr old.

When I explain Constellation to non-crypto people I do it like this. You know when you look at the sky and you see the stars? That’s the different blockchains that are out there. You know what no one thinks about that’s out there? The space that ties those stars together. Constellation network is the reason every blockchain can work together. You can get into it as deep as you want on a space-time continuum or you can look up and appreciate the connectivity it brings, either way, you have no constellation picture without a backdrop to pin it on.
