Please mind that currently, kukoin or bittrex, which are the biggest exchanges for DFI are under maintenance. You can download the mobile wallet (my advice), as the desktop wallet is a full node wallet and quite heavy to start your journey with defichain. You can find it in android playstore or IOS appstore. After you install it, just take note of the 24 seed words (keep them safe and never give them to absolutely no one). Also, keep your code safe as you need it for signing transfers. After that, just take a look around the app and come back here with your question so community may better guide you! 🙂

You can use any exchange and buy LTC for example and swap it afterwards to DFI. Only exchange who has DFI is currently Bittrue if I am not wrong.
