No upside to being open source. Very few investors can read the code anyways. The one's that can are more than likely looking for an exploit. As a goodwill gesture, the team can do a partially open source but I wouldn't even do that. If you're building a bank, you don't post the blueprints to Facebook. You keep that close to the chest.
