Are you trying to send dBTC to the Botcoin address? Or did you select DeFiChain network address as dBTC can be only transferred there. Wallet is unlocked?

Hi Torsten, yes I tried to send the dBTC to my cake BTC address and selected Bitcoin transfer network address start with 3Em5… I did not select Defichain as transfer network in cake this address would start with dF2B….

Hence, select the DefiChain address from Cake an send it there. It will be displayed there only as BTC though. Way out of Cake defines if it is gonna dBTC or BTC depending in the receiving network address you choose.
