In the medium article in December, the release of 3.1

was penned in before the end of the year. The pinned morning message within this chat also stated the release before the end of the year. That pinned message was then changed to remove that statement, and we’ve had silence on the release of that and also on the most simplest of tasks of an AMA. It shouldn’t take 2 months to complete an hour AMA.

Is there a reason for the delay in both of these items, and please to not insult everyone’s intelligence and state “there are no delays” again.

Can the community have a slight bit of transparency on this, an honest statement to say there are a few bumps in the road, or minor issues that require sorting first before release would be appreciated, just some honesty and transparency.

This was all penned in and now seemingly deleted from the pinned message and sort of swept under the carpet to try and make us forget about it being released prior to end of 2021. It’s now 3 weeks later and there has been absolutely nothing.

Edit: Does the team realise how unprofessional it looks for a company trying to be a world wide remittance business cannot even organise an AMA over a 2 month period?

+1. No one here is expecting you to provide exact dates or times of releases, but it’s more than a little concerning that an AMA, an extremely basic task, has somehow been delayed for 2 months? How can we expect the team to disrupt an entire remittance market when an AMA is somehow too difficult to arrange

If I tell my boss that I will have the task completed on the 30th and on the 20th I see that I am not going to achieve it, I do not tell him that there is no longer an estimate, I tell him that it will take longer than indicated but I do not know how long. There are two ways to say it: - These are the reasons for my delay and I cannot give you a new estimated date, I will deliver it as soon as possible. - There is no longer an estimated date, therefore there are no delays. It is one thing not to be communicative and another to lie to your holders face and also not be communicative.

What if the boss comes to you and says: hey that task you working on will be rescheduled for later. He doesn't need to tell you why.

+1 I have always been reading but this is something that must be explained now before its too late, unless that was the plan from the beginning and there was never meant to be a v3.1 release end of 2021 year - then we are all doomed.

This question was posted an hour ago. It got 26 reponses so far, people are discussing and it shows, that its a huge concern for the whole community. Still there is no answer or anything from the admins or the team. They are just trying to ignore it until it goes away. 3.1 was delayed, thats ok. Asserting there was no delay at all is not, because its a fact. Coming up with a new AMA format, waiting 2 months, delaying it week by week and finally not talking about it anymore hoping people will just forget is also not ok. In my opinion this shows the huge disrespect telcoin has towards its community. Treating everyone like little kids results in people raising their voices and this is mainly because of telcoins misbehaviour in their communication

I can assure you neither topic is being ignored. First and foremost we have never put dates on product releases, at least not in recent history. 3.1 will be released when the team decides it is ready. As for the AMA, it is really unfortunate that it has been delayed this long - I completely sympathise with you all. It has only been a week or so since Parker released this statement: “Not distant, ill keep you posted. Either within the next two weeks with the time during the time I’ll be with team or right afterwards. It’s not that I don’t really want to do it now it’s that I have to stay dialed in to present on a number of super foundational things I’ve been working on for a long time” We will be requesting further information regarding this and will get this too you as soon as possible

28,000 group members so I wouldn't say 26 responses is "a lot" or "A huge concern for the community". A concern for the vocal minority may be more accurate. I get being uneasy, I'm there with you but vocalizing it doesn't do anything productive. Coming to a support channel to vocalize these types of concerns does nothing but bog down TEL teammates and scare away potential new investors. It's 41 by now. I kindly ask you to search for another message with this amount of engagement. And im not fudding, but stating facts. Telcoin is misbehaving in the matter of commumication towards their community and i want to be vocal about it as they can't do things better if no one tells them where they are lacking.

Unfortunately they know where they are lacking, but choose to accept it. They obviously are not interested in gaining new holders or retaining the ones they have.

I imagine their transparency decreases the more legit they become. Have to remember they are trying to focus on compliance too. Operate in silence, celebrate in public.

In response to my message yesterday, will the community receive any clarity on why 3.1 is now delayed (please don’t just say it isn’t delayed), it was said to the community that this was due to be released before 2021 ended and we’re now near February 2022. @JSWTYO
