Matic / ETH etc....Our 20 x braided chains more than covers existing blockchain needs, however I wonder if cranking up to 100 x chains this year will help create mass momentum and market awareness of the power of KDA while people and institutions are looking for the next best option now?
I don't think there's any reason to increase the number of chains sooner than necessary to support transaction demand. More chains = more overhead, which means storage requirements grow more quickly, nodes will have slightly higher CPU utilization, etc. It's not free. We already increased the number of chains unnecessarily once when we went from 10 to 20. But there was a clear business motivation there which was to prove that our system could actually scale in production. Now that we've done that I don't see any point in adding chains before they're needed.
