state Channel Dag will be slashed and taken back to reward pool.
When does this happen and can it happen to smone's node.
Can someone elaborate??
@SSBVegeta ?
Dag that is held is state channel pool that can be slashed for transaction fees, would it make state channel node inactive since Dag in node will become less than 250k after transaction fees?
@SethVi @OldBagS any insight?
I think we need clarity on what the DAG inside a state channels liquidity pool is used for exactly. Like..is that collateralized into independent nodes..or does the state channel itself collateralize it and become a validator for itself? Or is the liquidity pool strictly intended to be there to pay for exceeding the rate limit of the L0 global snapshot (to pay the penalty)?
Hmmm. Thinking it affects the state channel negatively if DAG drops...affecting throughput--speed of txs. @SethVi may have more specific concepts.
Yea I'm working on getting some clarification
If you look at the tokenomics 2.0 paper you will see that owning DAG in an address increases your bandwith --> that is what DAG staking into a state channel means: Increasing the bandwidth (and thus rate limit) of a State Channel ;)
