It might be useful to simply have this in a pinned message to be able to direct late comers to. I don't think it's beneficial to the channel to rehash this discussion with every single person. Over time it begins to look like we're still there, when this is currently, last quarters news, and will soon be half a year old. Like you said, we've moved on.

I thought about this too...and is what I did, but then saw how other people addressed them, and thought,"I can't stop everyone from addressing these people, it's impossible. But simply directing them to pinned message #X without continuing the conversation might be better". So I don't know, what do you think gives this issue more attention or how do you think we can move past it without having it brought up by people who don't know, and those who know feel either the opportunity to relive and rehash the drama again, or the obligation to inform?
