Just more energy FUD being pushed by environmental nuts. I'm

all for conservation, but this discussion about POW energy is just ridiculous. It an inauthentic concern that is not based in reality whatsoever. Banks use more energy than bitcoin mining by a large amount. No one ever says a word to banks about scaling back or shutting down branches due to energy consumption, now do they? So the argument is not authentic or serious. Do you use a bank? The answer is YES, then YOU are contributing to this "problem" and should have your money confiscated because you contributed to this. Do you see how this could be a really slippery slope? Do you know what happens to energy that isn't used? IT'S WASTED. The energy company has no way to store energy, if its not USED, its WASTED. So would they rather use the electricity that is being produced or just let it go to waste? I could probably go on for another ten minutes but I think this is good enough.

I agree, could be just a stellar plan to end crypto by moving everyone to pos, then suddenly they say "oh look you're all securities" Pow is pure decentralisation.
