they grow indefinitely, where will this data be stored 10years from now ?
Full nodes keep a history of the ledger (I know they aren’t archive nodes)
Where is the incentive for full node operators to continue paying for this increasing ledger size ? How can this be managed without proper incentives?
People talk of XRP/xlm/etc etc
Where will all of this tx data flow? The ledger history rite ? That means full nodes continue having to handle more and more
How is this handled and what am I not seeing
Hylochain https://medium.com/@lee.papa/what-is-a-state-channel-layer-0-vs-layer-2-43edbbb1657a I'd suggest reading all of these articles because every question or concern you've been bringing up is explained in all of these articles
I'm not sure of where the imaginary issue is that you are bringing up? As the network grows the index token value increases. The node operators will be making a much higher amount in value of the tokens. If they needed to increase the size of the nodes storage that cost would be so miniscule compared to the amount they should be making in rewards. The better question would be... Why wouldn't someone want to run a node like this?
Also remember that $dag is not the only token node operators can be rewarded in. A node operator will have many opportunities to be rewarded I'm all kinds of different tokens that all have the potential to rise many times in value.
