If you take the DFI rewards and swap half to the other side every day/week, you can continue adding more DFI and the other coin which in effect is compounding.

I believe this is a feature in development that is being added soon. But if everyone auto-compounds their rewards, it nullifies the compounding effect because everyone still has the same share of the pool, if you know what I'm talking about.

What you want is an auto compounding for LM. That is not available, not even at Cake 🙂 Auto compound in LM is not impossible, but and according my best knowledge, I am not aware of that being developed. That would imply a tremendous amount of programming work that does not seem to serve a real purpose of increasing the blockchain use cases and utility. Also, would imply that the app would have to automatically buy in you name through conversion in the DEX, the other half of the coin through your DFI rewards (remember that only DFI is available as reward, like 99,9%). Would you dont mind of feeding a consistent imparmenent loss with your gains in case of a market divergence? You would be consistently missing your coins in such event. Also, the rewards are paid every block, so like at each 30 seconds. How could that be managed in a "fee wise" user interest? If made at each block, just the fees charged on the conversions would erase any token you could add, unless you had such an amount in the pool that could render you an insane amount of rewards in each block. Would that need a buffer to optimize the balance to be added? And if that was to exist, what buffer would be considered? Most likely, users would want a variable buffer at demand. With all that in mind and other limitations not mentioned, anyone can see that is a titanic effort to implement such functionality. Not that is impossible, but so much demanding for the use of the end result and for the real benefit of users, that I honestly dont know if would end up being benefitial.
