Deleted the printscreen here so not give the scammer any more attention. For future similar situations, just find a moderator here in the channel, me or any other, and send that, showing the telegram profile name (the one that appears when you click the name) so we may find the scammer easily if he's on the chat. Posting here in the chat as you made, allows him to see and block you for example or exit the chat before a ban on his account. Lets not make their life easy 😉 Other than that, just block and report after sendig it to a mod. Remeber our safety notice that appears all days. No mod will ever DM or call you first and there is no support on telegram. Stay safe! 🙂

Two persons sent me private message just after 2 minutes asking for my issue in this group, I reported, and not able to find the contact anymore.

Unfortunatelly, it's not possible to stop scammers from entering public chats. Also, telegram cannot block the use of profile pictures and names from moderators, which they use to impersonate moderators and people of interest, to try and scam users. That's why we always request our users to not answer any unsolicited DM or call, and imediatelly block and report. If many users do it, telegram will automaticallt ban the account. If a user whishes to help and provide a faster ban, just do as I told you, send a DM to a moderator with the printscreen were the telegram profile username can be seen (not the name the scammer tries to impersonate as that is used to impersonate someone and can be copied, but the name that appears when you click on the name the scammer tries to impersonate, which is unique per account). A ban is made on that profile username, not on the chosen name for that profile.

It was I that deleted jt, as I said, lets not give scammers more attention than the one they deserve. Anyway, the scammer ran away as soon as you posted the picture here. Only the true Bernd is now on the chat. That's why you must sent the picture by DM to a mod. If the scammer is in the group, can be therefore banned. If he sees the picture, will run away imediatelly. Also, your picture did not show the telegram profile username, just the username. Always click in the scammers username to allow telegram to show their telegram profile username. Then make the printscreen 🙂 that allows us to make a ban on rhe acount 🙂
