To prevent abuse, creation of any proprietary DCT requires the

user to lock up 1,000 DFI for the time that the tokens are issued. The DFI is returned when the tokens are revoked and the DCT is cancelled.

From white paper.

I noticed in the DEX someone created a dSEX token. Is this an example of DCT? And possibly an example of abuse?

So by locking up 1000DFI, one can create any crazy tokens possible, but what is the benefit of doing so? Does that result in the forefeit of the 1000 DFI ?

Yes, users can create a customized token. For what purpose? Who knows? I remind a user that wanted to make a customized token to offer as a gifth to his best friend that was goind to marry and was a savy investor in Defichain.

It really could be used for anything. You could make a dDTC for do-the-chores, so if you have tokens of dDTC you have to do the house chores for one day. Or a school could make a dATT for attendance and give one token to you each day when you come to school. I don't know, it would be more of a community thing that you coordinate. :)

I would say it's someone playing with the possibility of making tokens, altough the name may not be the most consensual yes. As for the reasons why, I cannot discuss that here, as that is up to anyone who creates them. Silly or not, the possibility is standard practice in crypto, as not every project has capability to create it's own blockchain and consensus mechanism, as well as maintain a network. Just look for Ethereum, prime example of such. Many tokens that are well established (and also many meme coins) are created on their blockchain. If there is the possibility of abuse or silly creations, yes obviously. That is up to who create them. But obviously that defichain would give that possibility to its users and also to not limit itself against competition. We may say there is room for improvement, as with any project that aims higher, and that is definitely a moto for defichain :)

I have created a DCT (Defi Customer Token) by mistake. According to the documentation, I can get back my DFI by revoking the DCT. "The DFI is returned when the tokens are revoked and the DCT is cancelled.". Can someone tell me how to? Many thanks.
