Hi, does the Kadena K2 Layer 2 project claim to be able to do 480k tps, does it already exist in practice or is it just a matter of words and theory and the team has not been able to do it in practice yet?

Kuro already exists but so far no project uses it. The 480k TPS has been tested on testnet by the team.

Whenever the chains get congested the team will add chains to the Chainweb and expands from the current 20 chains to 50 or 100. This allows for more throughput ;)

Kadena can do 20x the transaction volume than Ethereum. IF you add Kuro (a permissioned blockchain, kinda like a layer-2) twice to each chain (so additionally 40 Kuro chains) you can get up to 480k TPS
