give me a blogpost
https://blog.defichain.com/we-struck-off-the-foundation-long-live-the-decentralization/amp/
https://www.defichain-analytics.com/general?entry=overview here you can see how many coins got burned
Ok and are in the actual 271 Mio dfi still some foundation coins or not?
What do you mean? The original foundation was dissolved and their dfi was burned. The new BVI non-profit foundation doesn’t hold that kind of assets, and everything is decentralised now, through CFPs, using the community fund. You can see, and track these cfps and dfips on GitHub. https://github.com/DeFiCh/dfips/issues/44 https://blog.defichain.com/community-projects/
I want to know if the Dfi which the foundation burned are in the number of burned dfi on defichain-analytics or if the "burned" foundation coins are redistributed via block rewards back in the ecosystem; this is the way it is written in the blog post
The foundation coins are not included in any supply, because they are and will be new emissioned.
Great thank you! Than it is a bit confusing to call them "burned" in the blogpost
By the way, is it public how many of the burned coins are from julian/uzyn?
There were 2 different burns: - The Foundation coins were burned and new new emissioned as block rewards - Cake also burned 156 million DFI from Julian, U-Zyn and early investors. These coins are included in the burned DFI amount on my dashboard and will never come back
Burned always means gone and out of circulation for good by sending to a dead wallet that no one owns the keys to.
