or just swap them on the dex?
You can find the roadmap on defichain.com, and upcoming features in the pinned announcements. Right now, it’s community selection for new dTokens. Also there is no ‘best’ way, as it’s just up to individuals what is more comfortable to them. Minting is definitely the cheaper way currently.
How much cheaper? Where can i see the price differences?
Cheaper because minting is based on oracle price. If you buy in DEX, you buy at DEX price which is at a premium. You can find info on https://www.defichain-analytics.com under vaults and loans
Cant find dBTC there? Or is that not something that has premiums?
dBTC cannot be minted on DeFiChain by Loans. You can see dBTC prices in the area DEX.
That means no premiums and there is only one way to get dBTC?
You can send BTC from Cake and it will be unwrapped into dBTC, or you can send DFI from Cake or an exchange and on the defichain wallet, use rhe dex to obtain dBTC 🙂
Premium is aplicable to the tokenized stocks, not crypto. dBTC is a wrapped version of BTC, to be used in the defichain ecosystem and backed 1:1 by the real BTC on Cake, which acts as custodian and wrapping/unwrapping entity. dStocks price, unless minted, follow the supply/demand rules, in which the demand is currently higher than supply, therefore the premium price :)
Hi, is my understanding correct that all dBTC in defichain ecosystem is backed 1:1 by Cake?
Cake? You talking about PancackSwap?
No, CakeDefi.
