on the restore and backup?
Hi! Yes, you just need to copy your wallet.dat file to the folder you use to save those files and then select "Restore wallet from backup", and select your file when prompted :)
i by accident put three restore on the wallet, so i can move them from there?
Yes you can, but it's not needed. Any wallet.dat file can restore your wallet as long as it's not corrupted. I myself always save the last 3 in the same directory, before putting them in a couple pen drives. Just select the option, then select your most updated file and let the wallet sinc up to 100% :)
ill keep trying. when it sync i never see my balance. yeseterday it showed some transactions but kept just loading, and i never can see the balance. but i can see the balance on the defi scan. at least the pools
You will only see your balance once the wallet is fully sinc. You need to reach 100% in order to see what you also see in defiscan. If you performed a transfer at block 500000 let's say, and now we are in the block 1 million, once you pass by the block 500000 while sinc, you'll see that transaction, as the wallet is reading the blockchain. Simple as that :) If you want a faster way, jusy sinc using a snapshot, you'll start at someting like 97 or 98% of the sinc. It's faster :) Once your wallet is fully sinc, you can therefore apply the recover from backup, will just need a minute to gather your balance from the blockchain since your wallet will already contain all the blockchain
itss now sinc so this cn take some days sounds like
im on it now. i pressed the restore button and a file pop up. so which of the files i put in, the one in the pop up or i can put the one i stored?
