Could the Defichain bridge to binance be an attack vector we need to take care about?
From my understanding the DFI collected before moved are hold in a "storage" until the brDFI is unwrapped again (moving Back to DefiChain).
This would mean only the "stored" DFI must be as secure as possible, as they could be stolen If smart contract gets hacked?
Correct. Bridges and wrapped coins in general are super dangerous. Bugs (backdoors?) in the smart contracts or in the keys management happen all the time.
This is why more audits need to be completed and the community will be experimenting with the bridge, storing DFI in one place would definitely not be a good idea. Don't worry about the bridge being hacked at the moment, it would not cause a total catastrophe. They are still testing it and improving it.
