You dont lose miners that are not here already, anyway team decided to go with asics as this raised the hashrate more quickly for decentralization (if i recall correctly) i also think they also said thing can change as project grows

There are points to make either way, team choose asics and for now i believe its a good call. Miners are sold out constantly as their profits are really high which means people are looking at it

Dont know sorry, do know there is a community miner group that together own quite a lot of miners
