My summary: Mainnet 1.0 has NO state channel businesses on it (that I am aware anyway). Mainnet 1.0 was a preliminary implementation of the technology built. There are a limited number of whitelisted nodes (around 102). Mainnet 1.0 is live, private. I believe mainnet 1.0 nodes process the dag tip bot transactions currently. I also believe mainnet 1.0 runs transactions related to the softnode staking/rewards. Mainnet 2.0 has generative economics in play for the ecosystem/network/rewards. Mainnet 2.0 could have as many nodes as there is DAG available. The 2.0 nodes are not whitelisted. Mainnet 2.0 will have state channels (businesses). Mainnet 2.0 will be public, not YET live. A more technical explanation might be available in an article or a community member smarter than myself could help.
