on paid server provider, if the server goes down, will that affect the PRO score?
Your node not being connected to the network affects your PRO score
SO, if the server goes down, and your node disconnects from the network, YES, it will affect your PRO score
Connectivity is a fundamental prerequisite for even having a score isn't it? Losing one's connection probably has a precipitous and rapid effect on PRO score, right?
1. Yes, that is why most people plan to use a VPS. 2. A portion of the PRO score is uptime, if your node is not up, the node cannot reputably observe. 3. So yes, it would be precipitous. The PRO score is a 0-1 multiplier for rewards, If you have a PRO Score of 1, and the rewards are 200, 200 x 1=200 full rewards If your PRO score is .75 200 x .75=150 and so on
Did this change from the original PRO score where 0 was perfect performance and 1 was the worst?
I dont know. It makes sense that if it is a multiplier, 0 would not be the best one
I don't think that was ever how it was
