Not exactly. Frax has different mechanisms in addition to the loans. eg curve amo. I think maker has since adopted some of them. Fraxlend might be different then the way makerdao does things. We'll know soon as Sam said its right around the corner.

According to Sams posts above explaining Fraxlend there is also the factor of using the DAO to lend FRAX. I think when they talk about the 0 to 1 moment this is what they are referring too. While I believe there will be a use case similar to maker. I think the bigger part will come from the DAO approving loans to other protocols. I am very interested to see what the team produces here. I am not sure exactly how its all going to work but I think it will be different then makerdao
