& public or permissioned & private?
2. Is it Evm compatible?
3. What are the contacts standards?
3. ERC20 (fungible tokens) ERC721 (non fungible tokens /NFTs)
DeFiChain has its own Blockchain
I am aware but that information doesn't answer my question. What I meant was. Is it possible to create custom tokens and nfts on defichain?
It's a non-touring complete Bitcoin forked Blockchain, so it doesn't really offer smart contracts like an EVM type Blockchain, which is why I love it so much. No smart contracts to be hacked and exploited through various contract based apps like many web3 compatible Dapps. But the Devs are in production of an EVM compatible side chain that will easily bridge DFI to an erc20 type token and allow Dapps and compatibility to the web3 world without risking anything on the main Defichain, it's being named DefiMetaChain
There are other forms of smart contract systems that exists. Not only evm
Sure, but this one is like Bitcoin , non-touring complete and very limited in how it can be "programed". Here's the the information near end of this video about the DFC (DefiMetaChain) https://youtu.be/Uhd_8LMZJ60
Sure, but this is a Bitcoin forked chain and non touring complete with very limited programmability and pretty much requires block forks to make changes. This much more secure, but limited on what can be done. This the DFC (DefiMetaChain) being added as a sidechain to open up the world of web3 and smart contracts and Dapps for the broader communities of multi-purpose Blockchains, but it will be tied to Defichain but not a minting Blockchain yet a seamless way to bridge DFI or other Defichain tokens over to it's erc20 standard. This will open the door for a bunch of Central exchanges to trade erc20 DFI and another on-ramp to the main Defichain and our ecosystem. Here's latest tech talk about this on second half of video. https://youtu.be/Uhd_8LMZJ60
