From future security perspective... is PoS (proof of stake) safe?

i might be missing something here but it looks like it favors entities with funds.

If a rogue entity has enough funds it can take over the network right?

please educate me if i am wrong

Over 60% of total supply is staked so it will be incredibly difficult for such an attack to happen

in the short term yes but if a long term attack is done PoS networks are still vulnerable. right?

I think this is same as POW only difference is your money goes from hardware to Direct staking but still it's expensive attack in both ways. They even can target hardware locations if they want.

Anyone can buy the token so it makes it incredibly hard, also the price would Increase dramatically. It would be extremely difficult to centralize a decentralized entity like sentienl

agreed! would it possible to create a network without these vulnerabilities? by vulnerabilities i mean for PoW, people have to tendencies to clump together thereby reducing true decentralization for PoS, consensus relies on smaller subset of entities selected by the amount coins staked. if you know what i mean
