Day to day, hmmm... Well I don't have a lambo or a private jet, I have a pretty typical middle-class lifestyle in rural Seattle area (I moved here 2020 after 10 yrs in Hong Kong)... With a 4yo and a 1yo keeping my non-work hours pretty busy (I have 3 other grown-up kids too and one grand-daughter, but they all live far away). My mom and sister and endless cousins live around here, so it's like Beverly Hillbillies for liberal geeks I guess ;p ;D.... Working mainly from home though we have a small SNet office nearby -- the office is mostly for Grace and Desdemona robots really... Probably spending 2/3 of my time on management / business / evangelism stuff and 1/3 on R&D currently ... ideally the proportions would be switched, but this seems to be the best thing for moving SNet ecosystem toward success right now.... I don't sleep a lot and work rather long hours (regular workday plus usually late into the evening, w/ some time off late afternoon to hang w/ the kids) but I like it that way, working toward beneficial AGI is my life-passion... Fortunate to have a fantastic wife who respects this out-there mission! (And has an AI PhD as well) .... The strategy we're following with SNet is a risky and unusual one but it does have its logic. Given the shortcomings of blockchain tech so far (in terms of speed and cost), getting mainstream AI devs to use SNet platform has been a hard sell in most cases.... So we're doing three core things: 1) working on fixing the speed/cost problems, first by porting to Cardano and then by building Hypercycle, 2) building our own applications of SNet-based AI across multiple vertical markets (and we found that the best way to do this has been to create whole mini-projects focused on each key vertical, with product people, tech people, customer oriented people, etc. .. which has led to Snet Foundation coming to act in some ways like a venture studio with a bunch of spinoffs currently at various stages of spinning-off), 3) building out core AGI tech (mostly Hyperon) that is designed to leverage tomorrow's blockchain networks (e.g. Hypercycle) and to serve the future needs of the various applications we're building. It's a holistic approach involving building a lot of interlocking stuff at once, which isn't the maximally fast paced thing and isn't the only way to do things, but it does suit the nature of SNet platform which is designed to shine most when multiple diverse things are interoperating on it. Meanwhile token price, which is what this TG channel always seems to focus on in a general crypto bear market, is basically uncorrelated with everything we're building and working on, and seems almost entirely driven by speculative market dynamics. If our strategy pays off as planned then each spinoff after it's been in-market for a couple years will be making substantial use of SNet platform (and of Hypercycle and Hyperon when they launch), and this massive traction will presumably overwhelm speculative market dynamics as the driver of token price. Kudos are due to those with the vision to hodl through this whole process. Building toward a decentralized beneficial global brain is not very easy and there are definitely many strategies one could follow, I can't be sure we are following the best one. But I do feel we are following a strategy that makes sense, and doing so with integrity and sincerity and a decent amount of intelligence... And I feel fortunate to have a great team in SNet. Foundation and the various growing spinoffs, to pursue the mission and refine the strategy alongside me...

> getting mainstream AI devs to use SNet platform has been a hard sell in most cases I think it could pay off to put some dedication into maximally limiting the barriers to entry, perhaps even as a regularly scheduled process with one or several persons being specifically responsible for that. Things that are almost invisible when one is involved in a project for some time can sometimes make a real difference. For example, having information spread over 3-4 sub-pages on a website instead of focused in a single place can kill off the curiosity of a newcomer (say someone who saw a YouTube interview about SNET). While the website is a work of beauty, I've the feeling that information is too spread out on it at the moment. For example, the dev portal (https://dev.singularitynet.io/) looks awesome and one can see that serious effort was put into it, but it's not straightforward to get a stepwise recipe into your head on how to onboard a service by yourself and what technologies that involves. There also seems to be some outdated information on the site, e.g. the RFAI portal is mentioned in some introduction. Of course, when one is motivated all the information can be found, but it would be better if someone who does not want to spend more than 10-15min to get an impression would have a very clear picture in mind how it works to run a service on SNET.

This was the best comment I have read from any leader so far.

Wow, I live nearby. How may I see the SNET office?

I had very similar ideas. However, it seems that now SNET decided not to disperse resources on this since after migration to Cardano things will be rewritten almost from scratch. Admins, can you confirm?

Thanks for this elaborate and important comment on SNET strategy! As you wrote, SNET does not try to sell the platform to AI devs due to the current hurdles with cost and speed. As I understand, these issues will largely be resolved once migration to Cardano is finished. Here are my questions: 1) Does it make sense to wait until the porting to Cardano is finished before starting DeepFunding actual payments? 2) Will SNET interface related with the “AI store” be rewritten from scratch since it is not very user-friendly for the moment? 3) Once the porting is finished, will SNET start selling the platform to AI devs? 4) You emphasize that SNET strategy is risky. What unites us is that we all care. How can we diminish these risks?

I agree the website UI is very poor for a project that aimes to redesign the AI for humanity. Star Atlas has a better one... Its our window, it needs to look like the futur and the science you are aiming for

Most of the platform code is not Solidity and will not need to be rewritten in a Cardano port, actually. Ultimately to make full use of Hypercycle, more parts will need to be written, but that will come a little later.

User interface for the AI marketplace will be replaced shortly after the Cardano port is completed, although this is a separate step and not really part of the Cardano port in a technical sense. It will be a major change UX-wise, and @ibbybenali is leading that effort.
