1️⃣ Can you please tell us about yourself, and the

services you provide?

I am the founder of Brimless Lab, we are a small team and we focus on developing applications using blockchain technology. You might know us from our products on the BSV network; Sensible Contract, Sensilet, ENFTY.io and Defrontier.net. Last December, we started moving our interests to other blockchains and in May we started working on Paragon Wallet.

We have managed to get the first version of Paragon ready in just a few weeks. Paragon is a non-custodial wallet that runs in your browser. Your accounts are derived from a Secret Recovery Phrase and you are also able to import accounts from private keys. 2️⃣ What is your motivation to support Novo?

Since we changed our focus away from the BSV network we have had discussions with three different teams (including Novo) who were planning to develop alternative UTXO-based blockchains. It seems that Novo is moving faster than its opponents. We have had communication about the project's direction and it looks promising to us. Novo starts fresh with a reasonable technical goal and a straightforward path.

For Sensible Contract we wrote a proposal for a method to implement oracle-less FT/NFT solution on BSV. This proposal was entirely ignored by the node developers. When we asked them for help to shift the script limit size from 10KB to 500KB they refused our request publicly. Steve Shadders (former technical director at nChain) even wrote a blog post to explain their policies against this. It's an incredible shame that the BSV node team merged thousands of changes into the node software without 'approval from miners' while anyone else doing a parameter change would require that.

We have proposed an improved solution for implementing oracle-less FTs/NFTs to the Novo dev team which works far better than our original proposal for Sensible Contract. This proposal was quickly accepted and is implemented in weeks. We are currently actively experimenting on Novo and communicating with the developers to make it better in the future.

3️⃣ What do you believe is the most promising use case for Novo, and why?

First off, Novo works plain and simple as a cash system with less complexities and technical debt. It should be much easier to implement different kinds of asset-based applications without worrying about historical problems and broken issues.

I personally hope Novo can become the supporting backbone and infrastructure for general web3 applications and especially future game products from Brimless Lab.
