suddenly spike? Like when DFI-USDC jumped to 100% APR a few weeks back.
Hi! If you refer which pools you are targetting actually, it may be easier to know how to answer if possible :)
Yes, like for example the dUSDC-DFI LM pool is currently at 48% APR. But yesterday it was around 28% i think.
always note the Reward (Blockreward in dfI) share and the commissions (swap fees in coins from the pool)
Sorry was on another channel. Well as @mm_phoenix said, the rewards are comming from blockchain emission and are mainly driven by the amount of users. The commission however, comes from the transaction fees, so if for some reason, a lot of trades happen in any particular pool, a lot of transaction fees are charged, making the APR to go up. Since in the blockchain, the rates are in basically almost real time, you can observe variations quite fast and steep. For example for the pool you mentioned, and since DUSD is currently at a discount, such increase in the commission can de due to users selling to cut some loss, and also due to users buying at a discount so earn some easy money once it recovers it's peg as the mechanisms are being deployed for such. But, an image speaks for a thousand words, so @mm_phoenix said it all above 🙂
