Maybe or maybe not. There are two 25 year periods and one 14 year period in the last 100 year where inflation adjusted stocks had no gains.

I’ve kept asking for Crude Oil futures to be included in the dStocks, as it is a great hedge for stocks. Better inverse correlation than stock-bonds these days.

Well over the last century only 36% of the time has that been the case. I mean we all like to think we have long time horizons for our investments but 25 years is a long time. I am guessing that we will have another 25 years of no gains starting about 8-9 months ago.

I guess at this point I’m beyond “investing”. I am more hoping for real change as opposed to just having more numbers attached to my name. I am already at the point where I will never have to work ever again if I don’t want to.
