hyped about polygon + eth, what can dag with equal ease offer as competitive and easily implementable
Can you give more details on what polygon is solving? I think the keyword is interoperability with other chains, which is great.. but ... interoperability with traditional applications outside of crypto/blockchain is even better and that is what DAG is solving. They are a layer 0 solution that can validate any data type (so not limited to only EVM or other blockchain techs - there are no limits on $DAG 😊). Plus $DAG is much more energy efficient, scalable, decentralized, feeless etc..
Afaik, they are supposed to give a very easy and exteremely cheap solution to work with eth. I do not own matic or eth, but i am interested how easily dag mainnet will be able to provide smth similar to smart contracts, how easily implementable, usable by simple folks who use eth
DAG is based on JVM (java virtual machine), Java is one of the most popular programming languages in the world, so there will be much more developers with experience in this programming language then there are with EVM (eth smart contracts). And I think there will be tooling available to easily migrate from ETH to DAG, but the dev docs still need to be released (I think that's planned for this month). DAG will work with state channels instead of smart contracts, which are much more flexible. Read more about that here: https://medium.com/the-dawn-of-dag/goodbye-smart-contracts-hello-state-channels-9f866153720
i know DAG is feeless and Polygon is expensive when more transactions are happening
