dfi in the USA?
Listing it on an exchange such as Coinbase or Binance.US — an exchange used more in the U.S. It’s not like you can’t get to DFI from the U.S., I think maybe people aren’t as aware.
Instagram marketing would also help, that’s popular among people teens and young adults (16-25) here
Getting to DFI is actually easy. Cake is cleared for US operations, but they are not a CEX and the process for getting OUT of DFI is convoluted
Getting out is just finding an exchange that accepts DFI and then finding a U.S. exchange
The problem with that one is you have the restrictions that come with an unverified account (i.e. withdrawal limits) that limit capital flow. The alternative is to maintain a separate non-custodial address, use the DEX, and send back to Cake for unwrapping.
Fair, we still need easier options with that
It's tough... I am in three banks that refuse any purchase of crypto in the USA... My only option is to buy on Gemini through an ACH .. wait five days for fund clearance than transfer to CAKE...and/or light wallet... does anyone have a better plan in the USA?... thank you in advance.
No, I don’t have advice on that.
The only thing I have through banks is a credit card. All of my day-to-day goes through credit unions. I've had to clear fraud checks when I did a wire but all of my ACH transactions went off without a hitch.
It's cool!... My country sucks sideways at the moment... not sure what will change... regulation?... cringe....
Wire fiat to Kraken, trade for tether. Send tether to kucoin and buy dfi, or can send to Cake, wrap to dusdt into light wallet, and buy dfi on dex.
