I see the fractional node going live in January. So

my question is, currently any tokens beyond 250k and less than 500k are treated as just a single node..from january will those excess tokens also earn additional rewards?

From what I understand after reading the medium ar...

Nearly everything correct - we added an example today to make it more clear. So taking your example the 125k staker would get 1000 DAG.

Right now about 35-40 people - the team is hiring more people over the year though, so this number will chabge too :)

From what I understand after reading the medium article if, for example, you had 375k $DAG, you would be able to stake 250k in a full soft node and the remaining 125k would go into a fractional node. If a full node was rewarded 4k $DAG for the month, then the 125k would earn 2k $DAG which means in total you would have earned 6k $DAG for the month. Then the following month, in your fractional node, you would be able to allocate 131k $DAG. I think this is going to be massive!
