old dad with painful artritis in his wrists and hands? The poor man wakes up every night from pain.
Has he ever tried a carnivore diet? It is naturally an anti-inflammatory diet and does wonders for inflammatory based diseases such as arthritis (particularly rheumatoid). Look up mikhaila Peterson. She put her juvenile rheumatoid arthritis into remission using this way of living.

I am a monster, 6'9" and slowly gaining a dad bod lmao. But carnivore was bad for me, I'm hypoglycemic so I need more additive "blood sugars". That said essentially dirty keto, I only fudge on if it's carbs or sugars, they have to be naturally occurring. Like sweet potato and quinoa, vs french fries and short grain white rice
so there are actual medical studies showing the CBDa can be an effective anti inflammatory as well as reduced pain response due to being a cox-2 inhibitor. I did a very lazy google search and here a reference to that study I mention
For sure, this style of eating isn't for everyone. I'm "reactive hypoglycemic" per my last Dr's visit several months ago. My metabolic panel (mainly LDL and HDL) were abnormal, but my triglycerides were fantastic and my hdl/triglyceride ratio was decent. It takes a while (think 6 months minimum) for your metabolism to even out depending on preexisting health. I think the basics will work for most people: limit processed foods, limit processed sugars, consume primarily animal fat sources for fat (debatable based on research sources, this is my opinion), etc. To reduce inflammation.
I'm actually hoping to utilize JCO in some fashion to record this data
Right if most of America can do a "swedish" diet our health care costs and avg claim costs and life expectancy would reflect
Perfectly said. Our Healthcare in the US is a shithole
I was chief data scientist at a decently large (for my state) medicaid and Medicare administrator company for population health... #nocomment
