Helium is migrating to solana. DAG and helium are partners.

Would it be logical to assume that helium eventually migrates to constellation? Trying to wrap my head why they’d use sol over Dag down the road (understand why not now)

Maybe this is the part that confuses me then, the DTM miners, they communicate via the LoRaWAN helium network… but then is that helium network going to be running on sol?

The other scenario could be helium stay with solana, and then solana spins up a state channel. Could that boost their network then?

DTM miners communicate primarily via WiFi, but also has a LoRaWAN module that does some communication using the Helium network. The DTM does not need the Helium network to run properly. Also keep in mind helium uses their blockchain primarily as a method to incentivize people to run their LoRaWAN network. LoRaWAN itself is not blockchain, the DTM could connect to non-Helium LoRaWAN networks in the future too

If I recall correctly, Lorawan is a low bandwidth long distance radio..of which helium has decentralized tokenomic infrastructure to incentivize it's deployment..but Lorawan is separate from helium ultimately

This is correct - we just partnered with Helium to have their network pre-loaded, but it could use other networks too (but not by default)
