Both. Eden has been and currently is a benefit to EOS (apart from recent controversies muddying the waters) but Eden must continue developing itself to be of greater benefit to EOS. Development of Eden is potentially of benefit for Eden members in that Eden can distribute funds to its members to provide improvements of the tools that it relies upon to operate more effectively, in service to EOS. There are developers within the Eden community, but any direct contributions to EOS code development, if that's what you are asking about, is purely tangential at this point. A working governance solution will be of GREAT benefit to EOS in the long run.
