of Eden?
Eden is dying a slow death 💀
While some individuals do not support decentralization, the majority of the blockchain community favors it, as demonstrated by the support for systems such as EOS DAO, Eden Daos, Fractally Daos, or Hypha, which align with the niche of supporting "decentralized products." Supporters of decentralization believe in distributing power and control across a network of participants instead of concentrating it in the hands of a single entity or authority. They view decentralization as a means to promote individual freedom, autonomy, and self-sovereignty, often supporting libertarian or anarchist ideals where centralized authorities such as the state are perceived as threats to personal freedom and individual rights. On the contrary, centralization often favors increased government control and intervention in areas such as economic policy, social welfare, and national security. Supporters of decentralization believe that excessive centralization leads to a loss of individual freedom and abuses of power. The community should support product developments such as all the Eden Daos (not just the English Eden) or any DAO in general to become self-sufficient without the need for inflation support. More use cases would be helpful in achieving this goal, which is why supporting these product developments to succeed is crucial.
I will add that in the web3 world, decentralization seems to be a signal! At least that’s why we all fell in love with BTC. While some projects are more centralized than others, our goal is to continue to encourage innovators to build decentralized systems and organizations. At least we have to continue to work on the innovation and continue to utilize the blockchain. The current banking and political systems are a mess. On EOS we have the ability to use DPOS and the political playoffs to solve real world problems. We have to promote self custody, defi, and a proper balance of decentralization. How that looks like? Only time will tell.
