happening with ledger, I was wondering if it is possible to implement a mechanism that does an automatic REdelegation (to same validator or another one) based on the following consecutive steps:
- immediate unbond (without waiting 28 days) from sentaddress1
- send tokens to a new address sentaddress2
- delegate again
All of this in 1 click, lets's call it "concerned redelegation"
Is it feasable or is technically not possible? Just curious @ironman0x7b2
Check your permissions on keplr as well. And remove Most of them
Why are ppl concerned about ledger?
For the new "Ledger recovery" thing, where people can backup the seed on their cloud. The seed is extracted from the Secure Element
You can redelegate straight away to another validator without waiting 28days already. The unbonding period is a protective mechanism. When your seed is stolen you didnt have it on a ledger. Always use a good hardware wallet like Ledger to protect your funds. If the thief is unbonding your tokens, you have only one change to be the first to transfer them to a save new address
Whats the Secure Element?
