instead of DAG?
This is a thing projects have to decide for themselves, and for the projects that decide to do so we want to still offer products. It's also a step to introduce projects from different ecosystems to the Hypergraph itself.
But you're not introducing them, you just help them use another chain, right?
No a project that already decided to launch on Ethereum can still come to the web3 launchkit program to get help and use Lattice products.
Hmm okay, I just don't see the benefit for the project to launch on ETH instead of DAG... Since the Kit is for pre launch you would expect them to use DAG
Not sure what is so difficult to understand here: Projects which want to start on the Hypergraph go to the flight program. Projects that already decided to go on another chain can still use the web3 launchkit (hypergraph Projects can of course use the web3 launckit too). It's just about capturing market participants which would launch on a different chain anyway for various possible reasons.
I get that, I just don't get the last part. What reasons would they have to launch on a different inferior chain?
I think a lot of projects look to a multi-chain future and want to tap into multiple liquidity sources accordingly. For all its tx fees Eth still has deep liquidity so someone launching on Eth is no surprise, leveraging constellation tech to deliver interoperability seems like a huge plus on their journey.
Well you could just look at all the existing projects on Ethereum with billions of market cap that do not migrate to a different low tx fee chain. It's mostly liquidity and user base imho.
Constellation is also interoperable with already existing crosschain projects right?
Isn't that because there isn't really a food alternative? Besides DAG, but it's still fairly unknown...
Will be once the ACI p2 element is delivered from what understand of the roadmap.
Well depends which aspects you are talking abouts - if its just about network fees we have quite the amount of cheap billion $ marketcap smart contract chains.
Yeah but they either suck in decentralisation or security...
DAG is the holy grail 🌚
That's awesome, any rough ETA?
This year* maybe soon, maybe sooner ;)
