This is logically what they should be doing it, and may be how it will work, for the tokenomics to be top drawer is should be a case of the value paid translates through to network value for all DAG holders, going by the adage that gets rolled out regularly of a rising tide raises all boats. If the flow was USD to DAG for rewards then everyone benefits, until the sell pressure comes from those converting back into USD or selling into another asset. But that is fair. The DAG reward pool is independent from those however, and how they are being issued, will just change token distribution across the holder pool based on what is currently to me relatively arbitrary mechanics.
