As far as I know you could run a home setup if you wanted to and had the expertise, and were confident in the connection. Right @Proph151Music @criptix?

Interesting idea. I suppose once you were past the initial set up costs, it might be cheaper than a vps?

Yes, and it's not even specialized hardware that you'd need, so initial cost shouldn't be that expensive. You will need to make sure you have stable internet connection and backups in case of electricity failure or hardware failure. That's why most choose a VPS, since they have contingencies in place
