There is a lot to unpack there with some parts

that I agree with and others less so.

Is the suggestion in the concluding paragraph to stop all (or perhaps most) other initiatives and only focus on a single application (DEX) to make EOS an app specific chain rather than a general use case smart contract platform? So something similar to BitShares or DYDX?

Are the current initiatives working? Market doesn’t seem to think so.

Not speaking for the author In the startup world, it is said that you have to win a small niche of the market and then grow from there I believe this is the theory popularized by clay Christensen in the innovators dilemma Sometimes when you try be good at everything you end up winning none So, a question to the ENF Which is the niche market segment where EOS absolutely is King 👑? Start there. Win, then grow out from it

Another way in which this theory manifests is the T-shaped people theory? The T-shape is a metaphor for an individual's strengths, with the vertical line representing expertise, discipline and knowledge of a particular field, and the horizontal line representing cross-discipline competencies and the ability to collaborate with professionals in other industries or roles.

That's not mean " stop all (or perhaps most) ", Priority development ≠ exclusive development. We need to pay attention to the potential market value of the EOS native chain's DeFi, which could reach billions of dollars. The metaphor of "one DApp, one public chain" is used to express the significant role that leading DApps play in driving ecosystem development. Gamefi, web3, and others are also important ecosystems, but DeFi should be prioritized as a strategic focus because a strong DeFi sector can empower Gamefi and web3, while high-quality Gamefi and web3 can provide excellent tokens for DeFi, creating a positive ecosystem cycle.

I am happy to openly discuss which viewpoints you support and which ones you do not support so much. If you can list them clearly, I think you can have an in-depth discussion.
