with crypto payments other than state subsidized protonmail?
https://www.startmail.com/pricing/ works well and take crypto for annual payment, but only BTC I think
I've been using it for several years now
Thx. Funny thing is I just looked at startmail before I came here to ask the question.
Please look (and criticize) Skiff.com.
i've been using runbox for a while, it's pretty barebones but it takes bch and haven't given me any problems
Thx. Will check out both.
Mxroute, they take BCH
While we are at it, can somebody suggest simplelogin.com alternative that takes BCH maybe? They want my my VISA number, they're not getting it nonononono...
BTW, unlimited aliases if how you kill ALL spam in existence basically STEP 1: Make a new alias for every service you register to STEP 2: In mail client, add a rule for the alias to only accept email from the service you registered to STEP 3: ???? STEP 5: PROFIT! Not only you block 99,999999% spam, but you also know who got "hacked" and lost your email / compromised your privacy / sold your data immediately. (as soon as you receive any spam to an alias address)
I wonder how is it people/companies did not figure it out yet. Or maybe they did, but they are in the spam business actually, so it would be bad for their profits
Only if services is your only use of email. You sometimes want someone you don't know to contact you
OK, so this solves only half of the equation I guess.
I guess I did not think about it, because in general I don't need for people who don't know me to contact me much
Yeah, but then you will miss out on that great crypto presale airdrop giveaway 😂
It's a big half though, I have a Firefox plugin for this but I forgot the name. Burner something?
Yes, been doing that for years indeed. It's best practice. Rarely I have seen my address get leaked, though. I don't filter and delete, just filter and sort into a mail folder. Also, 10minute email services are used more and more, great for actually staying anonymous
