Because it's not a blockchain of intrest for serious projects any more. Core team left, Alex will leave once it's a DAO. Nodes stop running once profit is unsustainable. Have you ever thought how is the project going to sustain by itself? Well the only people who believe in it are the bagholders, if you can do something about it please do.I'll be happy to see this go backup. My Theory: He wasn't part of it so long until farhad was CEO, he backed off long back. He knows it's pointless to stay, there are better and much more efficient projects in market doing well specially other third gen blockchains. Fact: He said so in his twitter 🤷‍♂

I really liked Velas wallet. They just stopped working on this blockchain and improving it. Once you put the product to work is when you find out the weakness and issues, by slowly working through them solving all the issues and getting rid of the weakness after a lot of effort and time is a great product built. It's not just Velas most of the blockchains will slowly vanish.
