Hello. There is a shit coin that copied the whole velas

blockchain (not forked, just copy), renamed variables to their ticker from Velas and saying this is their tech. Is this legal? They raised on these lies millions dollars.

That's not a fork. That's 1:1 Velas clone. They cloned even the native explorer and there's 0 mention that the code belongs to Velas

How do you know it’s scam? If that’s the one I think you’re referring to it was created by ex-staff that wasn’t getting paid and wanted to keep the project going. Ask in their community before spreadjng lies

We didn’t 1:1 copy Velas we forked it as we utilized Solana and Velas as a base since the Velas blockchain is superior to other blockchains currently available and offered some of the integration points we needed. Just saying but we didn’t clone it and just launch 😂 Velas devs have spoke to us to help us set some of the stuff up too so I don’t get why you are so concerned 😂

Also the native explorer we use is from Solana... Our EVM explorer is from Blockscout V2 Velas uses V1.
