Well I tried to read the TAO website to make a comparison but it seems they can't really put into words a defined path of what AI has to do with their work specifically outside of calling their network a super computer like ICP did. But, Fetch.ai is a company focused on building the software and tools for what are known as AI Agents, these entities are capable of being launched locally or from our cloud agent platform Agentverse.ai and can provide or request services which are made identifiable through the Alamac Contract. This means agents function off chain but can preform on chain transactions. Each agent can be customized for just about any task you can think of and they work really well when paired with LLMs as it gives them the ability to understand written language and preform tasks on that basis. Basically think of an agent like a set of legos, there's already a basic build and feature set that it comes along with, but, you can integrate pieces of other lego sets into the base one and keep building it out into something unique, like how you can integrate APIs, Machine Learning models, LLMs or other data to a base agent. Agents can be used for something as simple as retrieving a daily weather report, or something as complex as organizing an entire shipping companies product tracking
