We're on it. They know us pretty well from our multiple chats we had in the past for getting the v2 implementation. Honestly, by Q2 2024, you might not even need WalletConnect because there's going to be a smoother way to connect and sign, thanks to WebAuthn. This is definitely going to make things better for dapps and wallets. The WalletConnect docs aren't totally up to speed yet, but check out this KIP for more info: https://github.com/kadena-io/KIPs/blob/master/kip-0017.md.

I will be honest Randy so these problems are in the open. Please get on V3 ASAP. V2 is deprecated now and it's very glaring that even the most obscure chains have submitted chain support files to viem repo. You got this king, please make kadena modern and sleek for us w.r.t wc. I know you guys are working on new tech but DX requires broadband support of popular protocols. Some people might not want to use webauthn tbh. We should support all popular KIP enforced protocols to latest version.

V2 is not deprecated it is the latest version. https://github.com/WalletConnect/walletconnect-monorepo/releases are you referring to another walletconnect implementation like the modal?

no its wallet connect. VErsion 3 is highly streamlined for dapps like the one we are making and v2 is trash bloatware. We want to use v3 to connect with linx but kadena has to be indexed in supported chains.
