1% means they get 1% you get 99%.. It's pretty cheap to run a validator so even with 1% it covers the cost easily. When they offer cheap commission they get high staking and can produce more blocks.

I don't disagree but if somebody is doing it for 1% why not take it, right? So the next update will force a minimum of 5%? Is this confirmed by officials?

And I agree with this sentiment. As a delegator you should try to maximize your rewards. But keep an eye on your validator just in case they get jailed or start increasing the commission percentage.

So fetch holders get 1:1 transfer to ASI but mc goes up 3x while our price remains the same. Doesn’t that ultimately mean we loss 3x the value of our crypto in the short term?
