Sharded blockchains like Kadena are made up of multiple chains tied together. As a user, this means I have to know on which chain my assets are, where the dapp that I want to use is deployed, move my funds there, etc. Basically no different than what you have to do when using one of the Ethereum L2s except here you move between Kadena’s chains instead of Ethereum L1 - L2s. “Chain abstraction” is the idea of hiding this complexity so it all feels like one chain.
And only linx wallet has done this on kadena. If you want chainless experience, try linx wallet
Still lots of work to do, but the end result will be worth it.
I always ask myself, why do I have to know on which blockchain this or that dapp is to be able to use it. I don’t need to know the cloud provider that X is deployed on to be able to post a tweet, dapps should be no different.
Wen launch redlinx funding sale? We have 30+ kadenians on #redme campaign supporting the project 😊
I feel this is the most important thing Kadena needs to solve for user experience, However, Linx solved this for wallet side, but Lot work needed for 'Dapps'
No dapps atm need cross chain scaling, it’s the issue of distant future. Nevertheless, dapps cross chain has been proven, but the UX isn’t great (yet), an issue that can be solved
