pending airdrops (RJV, CGV, HYPC, SOPH, TWIN)? I assume it will be before ASI, right? In that case, is it better to leave them in staking?
It's information I need to know. Now we have to make the decision of whether to leave our AGIX in staking. And ASI is supposed to be next month.
Currently already spun off project will be based on agix snapshots indeed.
I know. But when are those snapshots taken?
This depends on the spinoffs more than agix. I get where you're coming from and will ask if we can use a uniform snapshot for all. We've had bonus allocations for staked tokens in the past but that's no guarantee for upcoming ones.
Of course. Thank you very much. I would appreciate it if you could make that inquiry and get it clarified as soon as possible, so I can decide whether to remove my AGIX from staking or not.
@janetadamsai @bengoertzel , please, can you clarify this? Thank you.
Fwiw, I've asked about it this morning right when you asked and will get back on it
Do we get the airdrop in cold storage too?
it'll be registring and claiming
Thank you, Peter. It's something important and I understand that they must have already considered it when negotiating the merger. I didn't want to bother you, that's why I asked them directly.
agix staking bonus for spinoff allocations was not part of negotiations, its an internal affair
@janetadamsai @bengoertzel @peter_ce , I'll ask the question again since there's no response, and I have doubts about receiving one. I understand that for those with millions of tokens, it might be a trivial question, but for me, and I assume for some others, it's an important concern. If I don't receive an answer today, I'll ask again tomorrow. I may not have many tokens, but I do have a lot of persistence.
Hey, you can but it wont speed anything up ✌️
Some information about this? Is anyone willing to answer?
Peter answered you several times, yesterday was the last time I believe. Nothing changed since then
In the coming days, we need to decide whether to keep our AGIX in staking or withdraw them to convert them into ASI. But we don't know what consequences any decision we make regarding the pending airdrops will have. It's an important question and needs to be answered. I'll keep asking every day until someone has the decency to respond.
So Javi, migration will take place sometime in May, nothing has been said about a few days (as of yet). There is no need for any action right now. Also, migration will remain open almost indefinitely. And blockchain ledgers are not going anywhere; snapshots can be taken retroactively. There is no urgency to do anything right now. When it’s decided what will happen about the airdrop snapshots, it’ll be communicated. Asking every day will not speed things up :)
Ok. So, I understand that you'll be able to answer these questions or tell me if I need that information or not. Will there be a difference in the allocated airdrops depending on whether we have our AGIX in staking? I want to sell some AGIX as soon as possible to access other projects in May, but I don't want to give up these airdrops. Will the snapshot be in May? If so, I need to withdraw my AGIX from staking. Should I remove them from staking? Should I leave them for another month? What should I do? Thank you...
I specifically said that we don’t know and snapshot dates have not been decided 😊 Also, cannot advise you as to selling etc. as 1) I’m the last person you want to ask for this kind of advice (ask @Lex_Fur in the price chat 😉) and 2) we can’t advise or opine on that kind of thing 👌
I'm very clear about what I have to do, but I simply lack information. Honestly, do you think it's normal that issues like when and how to take the snapshot weren't considered before deciding on the merger? Is it so strange to ask for information? I'm going to bed, it's late here...
Yes, I totally believe that this is the case. Especially since blockchains can be snapshotted at any point in time, including staking contracts. So I’d say just wait for official comms on this and don’t stress over it. We’re all in this together, migration, snapshots, and everything else that goes with it 😊
