partnerships, grantees, developer relations etc? I know it’s probably all, but what’s the one thing the team is getting excited about the most?
All of those things and more. Sports still very, VERY much in play. Just working through specs.
Mike, come on, you said there were minor problems, what is the situation for sports? 💆
The situation with sports is these are big global brands who have tons of attorneys and they go line by line around every point and it needs to be negotiated and agreed upon. Their attorneys have talks with our attorneys, our attorneys talk to us, we have to make decisions, etc. I've had 3 calls today around "sports". It's moving along, but it's never fast.
Mike You've answered this many times before. It's over, it's almost there, the last details are like between lawyers, you know, you can look at your search history. Now you say it's not fast. It's so hard to understand, it made me sad 🥺
relax bro and just wait. go touch some grass
The answers have been the same because it is the same stuff unfortunately. There are always back and forth. When one thing clears, it always seems something new pops up and then it goes in circle again. Sometimes its very minor details. Depending on the magnitude of the deal, some minor details are not focused on, but in larger scaled things, it does at times. Every deal has its differences. Good news such conversations are still going and active. When they go mute and no collaboration, that would be when I would be worried. All is good here, we would love to get this done and move on to more time in other things.
Thank you for your nice answer Carl.
This isnt true bro. They’ve been very very clear that legal can take time - and that it is as annoying for them - as it is for us - but very much necessary🙏🙏
@CarlParker_KDA and @AlexanderNatur summed it up nicely I think. These things unfortunately take time. Legal redlines are "very complicated". We have had things signed, you just haven't seen those yet because of a variety of reasons. One in particular is a sports partnership but they are bound by a code review agreement before our "partnership" kicks in. This is a security measure to ensure they can build their side of our agreement. What I would consider the biggest one, with a huge global brand is moving closer to the finish line daily. I've had 2 calls about it today and am sending another round of redlines back to their team. Another was ready to sign and we pivoted on at the last minute. Another died of natural causes, we just couldn't agree on terms. This stuff happens in the real world. So why doesn't Kadena "integrate with big companies"? Trust me, were working on it but big companies don't move fast and they're very complicated to deal with. So we're making all the moves we can. New CBO which helps the company move into a potential new direction, we launched Kadena Academy which we're very happy with, we brought our dear friend Amir into the fold to help with ecosystem projects more and in a more formal manner, we're working on tons of other things as well. All in due time, all in due time.
Great to hear! The whole point tho of a CEO is to drive the direction of a company. What is the point of having Stuart as CEO if we have a CBO which is much more experienced in what she does?
CEO’s & CBO’s co-exist. We can’t have Stu doing everything, all the time, all at once:) An L1 has too many avenues to move my friend💪
Can you explain the agreement that is not due to natural causes? In the end it didn't happen. There seems to be no problem in sharing what it is. We can say that we are trying to make really good deals.
You can contact with F1 Bahrain
Do you have a direct contact there?
If rwa partnerships take this long and dont amount to anything in a year maybe its time to do business the crypto way. You know, the way of the industry kadena is part of?
